Weekending

My dear friends from the Choir group and my sister in law´s mother who invited us to a delightful lunchtime at the Golf Club where we spent some great time talking , laughing and eating ...
These "bento bags" I made ( except the blue string one) to Camila to take her snack to school every day. I wanted to make something related to each day of the week and Wednesday´s is missing, it´s Fruit Day and I haven´t made it but this week I ´ll try to. A fabric with some fruit on it...

But since I haven´t made it, I pack the fruit ( here the grape box) and I put it inside the bento bag with a small fabric napkin or towel. My girl enjoys it when I add some note , it´s always a surprise for her.

Sunday afternoon, a little craft moment making mosaic box. It´s easy, it´s cute and it´s so fast to make it ! A friend of mine sells these Mosaic Kits and Camila is a huge fan , this is the second piece she´s working on and when she was a toddler she used to make a paper mosaic on pen cases and photo frames that were also really fun!

Actually, there´s no age limit to have fun, isn´t it?

I was having lunch with those dearest friends, Camila and daddy went to an amazing place and he took some pictures showed down here:

Espaço Catavento is a unique place , a science museum that also kids will be excited,there are many hands-on activities that give visitors the chance to experiment themselves scientific principles in a fun, educational way.

It´s located inside an old beautiful architectural construction that once was the City Hall and there are many sections, a brilliant museum of science, art and human perception .


This is a piece of meteor that she touched and as she said, she touched something from the space!

Weekend wonders...

Sunday Morning: Time to organize all Mommy´s buttons by color. I have this very special tiny assistant that does it very well, look at that, she did all by herself!!! Thank you , Camila!


Furniture store, lots of beautiful wooden work , chairs, tables...


Look at this pretty skirt, we bought it at a used clothing shop, we always do that, and this one was so very new!!!! 100% cotton and flower pattern, just beautiful for a Sunday afternoon...

Into the holidays - Day Two

The weather forecast says no rain, beautiful day to do something outside and we went to Itu, a city near São Paulo, about 80 km from our home.
It´s a place that brings me good memories because of my father that lived there for 3 years when I was a teenager and I used to go there twice a month and I ´ve spent my summer holidays and winter holidays there, with my dad. He worked at a toy factory called Brinquedos Mimo and I loved my dad´s job , there was a little shop behind the factory where he could buy with discount and I still have one of the toys I loved most, a puppy that walks and barks called xodozinho.
We arrived at the Rancho da Picanha but there was a huge queue , we had to wait about one hour and I was starving, desperately looking for any food so we gave up staying there and drove directly to the other destination: Fazenda do Chocolate, a place we´ve been a lot of times before and it´s a very simple place located near Cabreúva city and we drive near the Tiete River which is a mess, very dirty and it´s so sad seeing that scene...
Whatever... we found good things at the farm , of course there were lots of people but it´s a big park so we could sit, eat some barbecue, give food to the fishes and Camila got a poney ride that she loved , again!
We bought some big "roscas de polvilho" and fresh eggs! Very country stuff!

But something is missing here, I´ve got to go back to eat some Picanha !!!! Not because of the meat but it´s a fine place to kids to play as well. So, maybe next week...

And we arrived home at 5:30 PM, such a wonderful day we had . Now they are asleep and so will I.
Tomorrow we have more plans to get together...

A Tropinha reunida!


No Atelier Terra Bela, conhecendo os fornos de cerâmica de alta temperatura.

Ontem foi dia de passeio da escola da Camila e adivinhem onde foram visitar? O atelier da tia Ivone que esperava por eles com toda organização possível, capricho na preparação das atividades e demonstração no torno para trabalhar com argila.

A criançada , segundo a dona da escola, teve uma tarde diferente, de muito aprendizado, conhecimentos gerais , cultura e mão na massa onde cada um teve a oportunidade de brincar com a argila , uma forma gostosa e divertida de estimular e melhorar a coordenação motora, a diversão em grupo e tantas outras sensações que as crianças apreciaram!!!
E depois tomaram o lanche e conheceram o torno e o forno, não sei bem a ordem das atividades.

Camila estava contando os dias para poder apresentar seus amiguinhos à tia, de mostrar aos amiguinhos o lugar que ela frequenta e se sente bem, onde passa o fim de semana , descansa, brinca, corre, rega as plantas, dá comida aos gansos, uma vida no campo, enfim!

E qual é a criança que não gosta disso, não é mesmo?!!!!
Tia Ivone, muito obrigada por receber de braços abertos toda essa turminha querida!! Com certeza eles se divertiram muito. Tia Ligia manda um muito obrigada!! O recado foi dado!

Vila Madalena, o retorno

A sobremesa...


Minha amiga de infância, a Akemi , agora temos muito em comum, ela tem filhos, nossas mães foram super amigas e sempre tivemos muitas afinidades. Além de ser formada em física ela é uma crafter intelectual de mão cheia!!

Fomos almoçar no Banana Verde (que foi indicado pela Nina e eu havia adorado) , então voltei lá e não me arrependí, o clima bem "verde", bossa nova tocando ao fundo, a energia boa, tranquila na esquina de uma das ruas da Vila Madalena foi um cenário maravilhoso para curtirmos o nosso delicioso almoço de comida natural. Mas não pensem que comemos alpiste ou feno ou coisas assim, de passarinho... Nada disso! Havia um bolinho de shimeji com queijo, arroz integral com feijão azuki e o capricho na apresentação do prato! hmmm, divinamente decorado!

A sobremesa então, foi de babar! Sorbet de manga com amoras inteiras e folhinhas de hortelã que dava um toque especial, um cheirinho refrescante, o céu!!!

Depois fomos dar uma olhada na vizinhança e acabei achando um sapato lindo na Bel Paoliello, aliás, todos os sapatos de lá são confortáveis para mim, tudo dá certinho, sempre tem o meu número então... preciso me conter e desta vez eu fui bem contida, trouxe para casa apenas 1 par de sapatos!!! E voltei feliz, muito feliz da vida!!!!!

Almoço no Café Pequeno


Estive batendo perna na Vila Madá, delícia fazer isso algumas vezes por ano... encontrei amigas queridas, a Miki, a Sossô que levou a linda filhota Julia e conversamos bastante, provamos roupas, sapatos, almoçamos e tomamos café.

A Vila , cada vez que volto para lá tem novidades, muita gente descolada, cheio de lojas maravilhosas entre elas a Antes de Paris onde fotografei até o banheiro!!!! Novidades no mundo da moda, atualidades, gastronomia, tudo de bom!

Almoçamos no Café Pequeno ( R.Fradique Coutinho,995A - Tel.3791-6836), o prato do dia era o Balontini de Frango com recheio de champignon e alho poró. Acompanhava batata , arroz, feijão e na entrada veio uma saladinha muito boa!
O espresso estava divino!

Andamos um pouco pela Aspicuelta e Harmonia mas tive um contratempo e tive que deixar minhas amigas e fui embora, foi uma pena porquê a companhia estava divertida e voltei para casa mais leve!

Domingo família

Assim, o patinho feio virou cisne e que enooorrme cisne! Camila com tia Martinha e o primo Rodrigo , foram passear no pesqueiro em Registro - SP. Domingo de muito sol, ela aprendeu como se pesca mas ainda é cedo para ensiná-la a ter paciência e ficar em silêncio ( embora isso seja difícil até para os crescidinhos...), mas foram momentos divertidos que todos curtimos muito! O almoço estava delicioso, tinha tempurá, feijão com arroz, churrasquinho, guaraná geladinho, hmmm... Não poderia ser melhor!
