My favorite color has always been butter yellow. One time I was reminiscing about my childhood home and I realized it was butter yellow. And my bedroom was butter yellow. And the kitchen was butter yellow. I guess this is where the connection comes from!

My favourite colour is blue. It was my mother's favourite colour too. I think the Delftse blue pottery is so adorable. I think blue looks good on me too, so that's the colour I got my wedding dress to be!

Thanks for the great giveaway! Currently my favorite color is stormy cloud blue. I feel like it is very calming and serene. Seems a little contradictory as storms are not calm, but I think it is that feeling of calm before the storm when everything gets quiet and you can FEEL the darkness settling in. That shade of blue is the one that is my current favorite.
I love colour palettes more than I love colours by themselves.. I think there is a lot of personality to colours when you put them together. Right now I am in love with greyish green + dark brown + cream..

A few years ago it was blue... I have also gone through a purple phase... but right now, it's orange. Maybe it's because that's the color I have been mostly working for my first quilt, and it will only last for a couple more months, I don't know LOL!

Purple. My mom decided when my sister and I were small to make everything for my sister pink and for me purple. Somehow it has stuck (and I do the same for my girls...pink for the older one, purple for the younger). Purple is still my reflex color I give when asked this question.
